It’s been quite a while since my last post, I apologize.  I finally have a little time so here is the next one I’ve been wanting to talk about: Craftsman Style Interiors!

The interior style is made to accompany the lifestyle accomplished by the exterior: comfortable and laid back. Wood and natural materials are prevalent and there are straight and simple lines.

Craftsman interiors have the following distinct characteristics:

  • built-in shelving and storage
  • thick wood trim
  • wood ceiling beams
  • central fireplace
  • exposed joinery
  • hammered hardware
  • lantern lighting
